'''Chaos''' is the raw energy that is channeled to create magic. All [[Arcana]] are forged of this chaos energy by virtuosos. Exceptionally skilled virtuosos such as [[Master Sura]] are also capable of creating arcana of pure Chaos energy. These chaos arcana are extremely rare and powerful, only being shared with those who can overcome the [[Chaos Trials]].

Master Sura will award the player one random chaos arcana when he is defeated. He will give you additional one if you will defeat his third secret phase.

Chaos Arcana cannot be dropped from council members and cannot be purchased normally from the Arcana shop. The only way to equip them is through Tomi.

If the {{ItemLink|Insignia of Legend}} is equipped or the player is on an endless run, Chaos Arcana will always be purchasable in the Enhanced Arcana slot from the Arcana shop for 300 gold.

If any Chaos arcana (aside from {{ItemLink|Chaotic Rift}}, which does not hit or certain enemy lock-on summons such {{ItemLink|Phantom Brigade}}) is used on an elemental locked chest, it will unlock the next lock regardless of which element that lock is.
