Distortion Beam is a Signature Chaos Arcana in Wizard of Legend
Description[]
On cast, the player is knocked back slightly, then free movement is granted before the beam is fired. The beam deals 5 instances of 5 damage on all enemies and then 25 damage with a knockback. Player cannot be knocked out of bounds with the knockback of the cast.
Charged Signature: Fires 7 beams in total, one large one from the center and 3 smaller ones on each side. The beams may be slightly crooked, but are close to parallel.
Strategies[]
This spell has two charges by default, making it great in a combo against a boss or a group of enemies. Casting this spell as a signature will consume all charges, regardless of how many were remaining.
This spell also has the added benefit of innately destroying projectiles allowing it to be used defensively.

- Regenerative Inkwell will disable the signature cast, effectively refreshing the spell.
- Ring of Reserves all three charges are replenished.
- Volatile Gemstone the Distortion Beam can be charged fast enough that multiple sets of Distortion Beam can be chained together.
- Bladed Buckler allows Distortion Beam to gain signature charge when used to destroy projectiles
