During the Chaos Trials, your wizard can find various items dropped from Enemies, breakable objects, and treasure chests. The drop rates for these can be modified by Relics and Outfits.
List of drops[]
Gold[]
Gold can be used during the trials primarily to purchase Relics from the Artisan Andres and Arcana from Virtuoso Iris. Gold can only be spent during the trials, and any gold collected is lost upon returning to Lanova. Several Relics provide bonuses for picking up gold, including the 
Dagger of Midas which increases your damage based on how much gold you have, and the 
Gilded Helm which provides a similar bonus to your defense.
When gold drops, the amount is multiplied by a hidden stat called "Gold Compensation Value." GCV is 1 until more than half of the enemies on the current floor have been defeated. After this, GCV increases gradually to a maximum of 1.5.
Health Orbs[]
File:Health orb.pngHeath orbs heal the player, generally for 25 health per orb.
Health orbs drop more frequently based on the health of the player with the lowest health. The chance to drop a health orb is multiplied by 0.5 (at full health) to 1.75 (at 0 health).
The amount of health orbs that drop can be increased by Relics like the 
Raspberry Cookie Box, which increases the drop rate by 50%, and 
Pazu's Favorite Hat which will drop 3 health orbs when the player would receive fatal damage(saving their life).
Chaos Gems[]
Chaos Gems are the main source of currency in Lanova Plaza. Any Chaos Gems you collect in the trials come with you when you leave, up to a maximum of 999. The merchants in the plaza will trade Chaos Gems for new Outfits, Relics, and Arcana that you can take use to begin the trials with different builds. Note that you cannot bring more relics and arcana than you begin the game with, purchasing new ones only provides different options.
There are many Relics that interact with Chaos Gems, with some increasing their drop rate while others convert them to gold or even health.
Relics[]
The Relics found in the trials are the same ones available in Lanova Plaza. However, any relics found in the trials are lost when returning home.
Arcana[]
Arcana has a low chance to be dropped by enemies and chests like all other items, but every champion you defeat is guaranteed to drop a new Signature Arcana that you haven't collected yet. These Signature Arcana become unlocked permanently at Tomi, for use in future trials. Because Virtuoso Iris charges considerably more for Signature Arcana than regular ones, it can be a good strategy to avoid purchasing them, and instead collect them by defeating council members in the trials.
Trivia[]
- In prior versions, Health Orbs always healed for 5% of the players total health.
- There is an achievement for holding 999 Chaos Gems at once.
