The flag of the Sky Palace, found scattered throughout the tileset
The Sky Palace is the air section of the dungeon, featuring air elemental variants of some enemies, castle-themed props, and a boss fight with Sky Sovereign Shuu at the end.
Ambience[]
The Sky Palace is themed around the element Wind. It is made from a light-gray stone, and the entire structure is seen to be airborne, above the clouds. There are many gaps throughout this dungeon, reflecting the theme of agility and movement, often attributed to wind. The light-gray, gray, and slate-gray color, thematic for wind, is common in the castle's color scheme.
Enemies[]
Enemies unique to this castle include the Wind Archer, Wind Lancer, Wind Knight, Wind Mage, Wind Rogue, and Wind Summoner. The Zoner unique to this level is a small whirlwind, that intermittedly fires off two streams of air revolving around it. All enemies in this dungeon are wind-based, using slowing attacks and high-knockback blasts of air. Caution should be taken when encountering elemental enemies near gaps.
Hazards[]
The Sky Palace has the highest number of gaps throughout the dungeon, which play a large role in several dungeon rooms, meaning the player will need to be careful with dashing and movement arcana. On the other hand, this provides more opportunities to push enemies over the edges.
Notes[]
- The Sky Palace was released in V1.1, also known as the Sky Palace Update.
- Despite the space between walls appearing to be open air rather than the solid black of other elements, it is still solid and can not be teleported into with
Chaotic Rift.
