Volt Disc is a Basic Lightning Arcana in Wizard of Legend
Description[]
Throw an electric disc in the direction you are aiming which dissipates after a short distance, releasing a small burst of electricity that deals 1 hit of 9 damage. If the disc directly hits an enemy it deals 9 damage and the burst deals 0, registering as 2 hits. Each combo of this basic arcana is 3 casts long.
if enhanced, the disc bounces towards a second target after directly hitting the first, dealing identical damage.
Each press of the attack button throws out 1 disk.
Strategies[]
Volt Disk is great for focusing down a single enemy due to its range, fast cast time and the fact that each disc hits twice.
The enhanced version makes Volt Disk an excellent basic for crowd control since the discs automatically seek out a second target. This allows you to focus on attacking a single enemy while the bouncing discs take care of nearby enemies for you.
Spell combos[]
Fuelled Berserk speeds up your basic attack, allowing you to rapidly throw disks by spamming the attack button. This is most effective when paired with Evening Gloves as they allow you constantly throw discs by holding the attack button.- Magnetic Follow-up releases additional projectiles while attacking with basic arcana.
- Calming Flow reduces cooldowns every third disc cast.
- Evading Zephyr allows you to evade all attacks while using your basic arcana.
Item combos[]
- Evening Gloves is extremely useful as it allows a full combo of 3 disks to be performed when holding the attack button. It also gives additional signature charge when attacking with a basic arcana.
- Cabi's Bubble Gum, Cabi's Cinnamon Hots, Cabi's Cotton Candy, Cabi's Raw Chocolate, and Cabi's Citrus Sweets have a chance to release an elemental projectile when using your basic.
- Gloves of Gambit will increase damage.
- Combo Gloves adds an extra disc per combo.
- Reinforced Bracers allows discs to destroy enemy projectiles.
- Claws of Tomo will enhance the arcana.
- Sidewinder's Badge adds additional, low damage hits.
- Double Edged Cestus greatly increases basic damage but lowers all other damage.
- Neve's Citrine allows this arcana to shock opponents when paired with 6 other lightning arcana.
- Battery of Taranis increases the damage of this spell.
